Delivery
We do our best to process orders as quickly as possible, often on the same day. Orders are generally shipped the next business day after purchase via Dropp.
If an item is out of stock, we will contact you and inform you of the estimated delivery time, or issue a full refund if requested.
The customer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address and selecting the correct delivery method.
We also offer in-store pickup at: Scento Verslun, Grensásvegur 26, 108 Reykjavík.
Pricing & Shipping Costs
All prices in our online store include 24% VAT. Shipping costs are added at checkout. Prices are subject to typographical errors and image discrepancies — Scento ehf. reserves the right to cancel orders where an incorrect price has been displayed.
Payment & Security
Payment can be made by credit or debit card through the secure payment gateway Teya.
Returns & Exchanges
A 14-day return policy applies to all purchases, upon presentation of a receipt. Items must be unused, in perfect condition and in original packaging — seals must not be broken. This applies especially to fragrance products and gift sets.
Returns are based on the original purchase price, unless the item was bought on sale or at a special offer — in that case, the price on the day of return applies. Customers may choose between an exchange or a full refund.
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@scentoverslun.is or call 888-7355.
Defective Items
If an item is defective upon purchase, customers will be offered a replacement or a full refund.
Confidentiality
Scento ehf. guarantees full confidentiality of all information provided by the customer in connection with their purchase. Information will not be shared with third parties under any circumstances. Store members may unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by Icelandic law. In the event of a dispute, the matter shall be referred to the Consumer Disputes Committee. If unresolved, the dispute will be settled by Icelandic courts in the seller’s jurisdiction.
